Congratulations to all of our Oakwood students who participated in the Shelby Swinnea livestock show in Palestine! We walked away with numerous class winners and the Grand Champion overall lamb shown by Emma Neal!
Due to below freezing temps and continued hazardous driving conditions, Oakwood ISD will be closed on Friday, February 4th. Classes will resume on Monday with a regular school day, so all students need to report to school on Monday.

Weather Alert!
Out an abundance of caution, Oakwood ISD will be closed tomorrow (2/3/22) due to forecast hazardous road conditions and inclement weather. We will make a decision regarding school on Friday sometime tomorrow afternoon.
Please be advised that we will have a regular school day on Monday, February 7. (Not a Flex Monday) All students will need to come to school on Monday.

Mini Cheerleaders Performance Tuesday, January 25th! Varsity game begins at 6pm, mini cheerleaders be at the gym no later than 6:15pm.
The Varsity girls basketball game at Leon tonight has been canceled. Their next game is 1/28 at Neches.
