Decals for dad was a huge success! Players were to invite their dads up to decorate their new helmets. Dads enjoyed spending time with their players and placing the decals on their sons helmets. This is a great addition to our Oakwood traditions. Thanks dad for helping us out!
This week’s Golden Heart Award goes out to Mr. Russell Holden! As Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Holden is responsible for everything. Attention Parents: The Oakwood RODEO theme t-shirt order form will be sent home tomorrow in their Wednesday folders. The theme for the year is Reaching Our Dreams though Education at Oakwood. The orders forms are due back by September 2nd.

Attention Parents and Panthers Fans! Tonight's Meet the Panthers has been postponed due to the threat of continued severe weather this evening. Meet the Panthers will now take place next Tuesday, August 30 at 6pm, immediately following the home volleyball game. Please be safe traveling home this afternoon!

Attention Elementary Parents:
We had a great first week of school!! We are working very hard on routines and procedures. In the coming weeks, we will be digging deeper into the curriculum. It is very important for our students to be on time and in attendance everyday!
Reminders:
-Doors open at 7:30.
-Students are in class and ready to learn by 7:50. Students coming in after 7:50 are missing instruction time.
-All car riders are dropped off in the back of the school starting at 7:30.
Flex Mondays do NOT start until the 2nd 6 weeks. We will send out notifications when flex Monday starts.
