Oakwood Elementary is very fortunate to have community support. Oakwood mayor Jacquelyn Morrow has been volunteering her time to come read to our 2nd graders! They look forward to this each week! The Texas Retired Teachers Association of Leon County along with Mrs. Morrow donated $300 to the 2nd grade to buy books. We appreciate them so much.
Oakwood Elem. & JH will participate in UIL Academic contests next week at Navarro College. If your child signed up to participate they will have notes in their Wednesday folders tomorrow with all details. -- Miss Olive
