Our Junior High basketball games vs. Apple Springs on Thursday January 28th have been canceled. Our next Junior High games will be here vs. Cayuga on Thursday February 4th with the girls playing at 5:00 and boys to follow.

Triptyn brought a turtle shell he found to show his friends. This made for great discussion on the importance of a turtle shell, what they eat and their habitat.

I am so excited about Panther theatre this year. It is great to see them all forging ahead inspite of everything. They are following a great leader Erin Cearley. Pictured are a few members of our crew and stage manager, working out all the kinks and keeping everyone in line.

Congratulations to Eduardo, Mike, Aspen, Eli, Tank, Dakodah, Monique, Jazmine, Hayden, and Jackson on a job well done at the Henderson livestock show today! We had two first place lambs, intermediate steer showmanship winner, Junior steer showmanship winner, a first place heifer, and top finishes in the steer division! Congratulations to all on a great day for Oakwood FFA!

Oakwood ISD will start tomorrow at 10am. Road conditions from the melting snow and freezing overnight temperatures will make for a dangerous morning drive. The busses will run approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes later than normal.
Oakwood ISD has cancelled school tomorrow (Jan. 11) due to the unsafe travel conditions for our students and staff. Please be safe and we will see everyone Tuesday!
