Educators live for moments when our students feel a sense of belonging in our classrooms and start to believe in themselves. Those moments when a student discovers a love of writing, a knack for numbers, an ear for music, a theatre talent, or an eye for art that they didn’t know they possessed. You build relationships with students and set a high bar for their growth. You believe in their potential, even when they don’t see it themselves. It’s not an exaggeration: YOU CHANGE LIVES!

On the first Friday in May, we celebrate School Lunch Hero Day! When we say school nutrition professionals are heroes, we mean it! That’s why we celebrate them every year with the annual School Lunch Hero Day. Join schools nationwide that recognize the difference these team members make for every child who comes through their cafeteria. We want to acknowledge Ms. Melissa, Ms. Lilie, and Ms. Tonya and the difference they make every day! Thank you!
Please help us recognize our outstanding Principals! Dr. Johnson and Mr. Richardson! While students have to think about studying and teachers about teaching, the principal has much more on their mind about the school. From helping students to achieve more, managing students as well as the teachers, and living up to the parent's expectations, the jobs of school principals are often underestimated. This makes the school principal more than just the head of a school but a true teacher who makes a difference in students' lives. Their job includes meeting with the teachers, understanding the students' concerns, planning lessons, aiming to improve the school, and much more!
