Attention Oakwood Parents and Community Members, Oakwood ISD will host a public meeting on Thursday, Jan. 18 at 5:30pm in the Auditorium to discuss the district's plan to adopt the Guardian Plan for school safety. The Guardian Plan would allow the School Board to authorized certain individuals to carry a firearm (concealed) in an effort to keep our students and staff safe. Using informational text, Mrs. Carr’s 5th and 6th grade ELAR classes learned ALL about snowflakes, the factors that determine how they are formed, and how their patterns are created. Then, they were able to make their own button snowflakes and hang them on the class tree! Snow much fun! 💙💛💙
