Oakwood Lady Panthers & Panthers will be competing in the Region III Area track meet this Wednesday in Coolidge. Attached is the meet schedule. We hope everyone can come out and watch these student athletes compete and represent the Wood!

So proud of the Oakwood High School Varsity Girls Track Team as they performed great at the Dictrict 24 Meet on yesterday. The following ladies will be competing at the Area District 23-A and 24-A Meet on April 9 at Coolidge.
400 meter Run: Taylor Stevens 3rd; 300 meter Hurdles: Savannah Feil 3rd; 4X100 Relay: Karessa Walker, Kaler Richardson, Karlee Stevens, Jaslen Milligan and Lauren Relerford 3rd; 4X200 Relay: Karessa Walker, Kaler Richardson, Karlee Stevens, Jaslen Milligan and Lauren Relerford 2nd; 4X400 Relay: Karlee Stevens, Olga Alatorre, Savannah Feil and Taylor Stevens 3rd; Long Jump: Jaslen Milligan 3rd; Shot Put: Aubrey Crowder 1st, Amari Turner 3rd; Discus: Cambree Carr 1st, Erin Feil 3rd; Triple Jump: Savannah Feil 3rd, Kaler Richardson 4th; and High Jump: Kaler Richardson 2nd. The Oakwood Boys Varsity Track team finished second overall today as the District runner-up! They compiled 139 points, just 5 points shy of the 1st place Coolidge team . We are proud of these Panthers. The Oakwood track teams will compete next at the Area Track Meet in Coolidge on April 9th. Let's Go Wood! TPW! 💙💛

Chief Latham would like to remind parents and students about the drop off location for high school students. For safety reasons, keep the north bound traffic on Holly St. flowing. Do not stop to drop students off in the middle of the road. Parents can turn around and let students out in front of the gym or high school, going south on Holly St. Chief Latham will be out monitoring traffic in the mornings. Thank you for your cooperation!
