Oakwood ISD

The Oakwood ISD Board of Trustees has moved to postpone the Bond election originally scheduled for May 2 due to concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic.  After receiving counsel from the Secretary of State and legal officials, it was determined that in order to maintain social distancing guidelines and to follow all safety procedures in order to ensure the health of everyone involved, it was necessary to postpone the election to the November 3, 2020 election date.  Please note that this date may change again as there is a small possibility that a summer special election could still take place or the election may be cancelled entirely and moved to next year.  As always, we appreciate the support that the Oakwood community maintains for the school.
