CLUBS & ACTIVITIES

Oakwood offers something for everybody. Please take a look at the many ways you can participate and be a part of the great things going on at our schools.

BETA Club

National Beta is the nation's largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization in America. National Beta is committed to recognizing high academic achievement, rewarding and nurturing worthy character, fostering leadership skills and encouraging service to others. To find out the requirements and to see if you qualify to be part of this organization, please contact the BETA Club advisor, Lori Olive.

Future Farmers of America

The National FFA Organization helps our students meet the challenges of working in the industry of agriculture, which may also include biology, chemistry, veterinary science, or engineering. Agriculture is more than planting and harvesting; it is a science, a business, an art. Contact Taylor Brown if you would like to be a part of FFA.

ITS - International Thespians Society

The International Thespian Society is an honor society for high school and middle school theatre students. It is a division of the Educational Theatre Association. Thespian troupes serve students in grades 9–12; Junior Thespian troupes serve students in grades 6 through 8.

For more information on ITS contact Erin Cearley.

Student Council

StuCo members, elected by a vote of OHS student peers, include a president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and elected members. This council represents the student body at school, district, and civic meetings and leads special projects and activities such as school spirit day or fundraising events.
